Robb Montgomery is an American video journalism instructor based in Berlin, Germany.
His training courses are used by reporters at CNN, The New York Times, Reuters, BBC, RTÉ Ireland TV, and many public broadcasters like VRT in Belgium and Mediacorp in Singapore.
As a university professor, he produces diploma courses on mobile journalism at FH Wien University (Vienna), and the Danish School of Journalism (Copenhagen). He has taught courses in visual journalism at Northwestern University (Medill School) and video journalism at Cairo University and IntaJour.

Prior to developing his filmmaking and teaching career, Montgomery worked as an award-winning visual editor at the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times.
His work with investigative journalism teams at the Sun-Times won him recognition at the Peter Lisagor awards and he has been recognized with top honors in global journalism competitions throughout his career.
